Couriers
A Yanwen tracking number (also called a waybill number) is the shipment reference used to retrieve tracking updates for a parcel moving through Yanwen’s network. You usually receive it from the seller or marketplace after the order is packed and the shipping label is created.
For international deliveries, Yanwen may also generate a separate last-mile tracking number after the parcel is handed to a destination courier. Yanwen’s tracking systems and API documentation indicate that both the Yanwen number and the last-mile number can be used to query tracking, and the response may include an “exchange number” (last-mile number) plus the last-mile carrier name.

You can usually find the tracking number in one of these places:
To check updates, enter the tracking number exactly as provided (including letters). For a full “how to track” guide and platform options, keep that information on the parent page: Yanwen tracking.
If you use Yanwen’s official channels, Yanwen published guidance that its website and tracking site support batch queries (up to 100 numbers), and the customer portal supports larger batch queries (up to 500). Yanwen also notes that self-service queries generally support up to 1 year of waybill information, with older queries handled via manual channels.
A valid tracking number should return at least one of these outcomes: (1) a pre-shipment record (label created), or (2) scan events after pickup and processing. If you see “not found,” use this checklist first:
Also note: Yanwen’s official site states it no longer provides tracking queries for certain “China Post-type” products, and directs customers to use relevant postal websites in those cases.
Tracking gaps are usually caused by normal process handoffs rather than a lost parcel. Common reasons include:
If you are tracking an economy product, Yanwen’s tracking API documentation indicates that delivery-stage (last-mile) tracking may not be supported for some economy parcels.
Here are some frequently asked questions about Yanwen tracking numbers.
The Yanwen number usually remains the primary reference, but a second number may be added after handover to the destination courier. Yanwen’s tracking API documentation explicitly includes an “exchange number” field for last-mile tracking.
Different platforms may update at different times or rely on different data sources for handovers. If the official site shows limited results (for example, after export), check whether a last-mile number is available and try that number for destination updates.
Typically, one parcel corresponds to one tracking number. If you received the same tracking number for multiple orders, it may indicate consolidation by the seller, a labeling mistake, or a combined shipment reference. In that situation, ask the seller to confirm whether the orders were merged and whether separate last-mile numbers exist.
