Many letter‑size services don’t include tracking by default. But if your mailpiece includes a tracking number, like Certified Mail, Priority Mail, or Registered Mail, you can enter it on the USPS website or a platform like Ship24 to get status updates from acceptance through delivery.

Under the “Delivering for America” plan, USPS updated delivery standards as of April 1, 2025. Go to the Informed Delivery website, enter your address to check eligibility, and log in or create a USPS account. Once your identity is verified, you’ll receive daily notifications about incoming mail.
